Who We Are
Eugene Huang M.D., M.B.A is a board certified medical doctor specializing in Psychiatry with 25+ years of experience treating psychiatric disorders in adults. He has extensive clinical training in psychosomatic medicine as well as addiction psychiatry and psychodynamic psychiatry.
Michelle Huang, Psy. D. , L.P.C. (PA & TX) is a Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT is a time-limited, effective treatment for many clinical disorders. Transpersonal Psychology, health, wellness, happiness, and phase of life issues are other areas of interest. Dr. Michelle Huang has experience with all age groups and populations but prefers to work with Women, the LGBTQ community, and other underserved populations.
Our History
Epiphany Counseling Services was founded in 2004 by Dr. Michelle Huang to address the need for highly personalized, private and effective therapy at reasonable prices. Dr. Gene Huang had the identical idea when working in corporate medicine.
Drs. Huang have collaborated regarding many mutual clients over the years. This approach sets them apart from other practices in terms of positive experiences and outcomes.

Expert Trauma Training
Drs. Huang have both trained with Phil Wolfson, M.D., author of “The Ketamine Papers“. He has gained international acclaim for his work with Ketamine and published medical studies with both traditional psychiatric and psychedelic medications. Psychotherapy has been noted to be a necessary part of effective psychedelic interventions. Given this, Drs. Huang are dedicated to helping ameliorate moderate to severe symptoms of illness by providing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Doctors Gene and Michelle Huang are committed to offering personalized care, support for psychedelic mental health treatment and research, and educating both our community and the wider world about the potential of psychedelic-assisted therapies in healing trauma and associated mental disorders created by internal suffering. We are actively collaborating with the Central PA Psychedelic Society to advocate for these transformative treatments.
